Leu Gardens – Garden Tour, Lunch & Wine Tasting Seminar (registration required)

Tuesday, October 7 (9:00am–4:00pm)

The Harry P. Leu Gardens has nearly 50 acres of peaceful grounds that allow you to enjoy “Old Florida” via guided tour of the gardens and the Leu House Museum, a restored late 19th-century home that began as a Florida farmhouse. Stroll along meandering paths shaded by ancient oaks, forests of camellias, and giant camphor trees. At the Garden House, enjoy a quiet break and the romantic view of Lake Rowena. Leu Gardens features miles of paved scenic walkways that take you through garden settings, including America’s largest camellia collection outside California and the largest formal rose garden in Florida. Other features include palm and bamboo gardens, tropical stream and butterfly gardens, and the new kitchen garden with herbs and vegetables.

Following a group lunch at Gargi’s Lakeside Italian Restaurant, attendees will enjoy a wine seminar at Tim’s Wine Market featuring a 2-hour instructional class on wine tasting featuring 8 different wines.
