Clough, presents a rational methodology for the derivation of connector strength and ductility requirements, suitable connection details for representative example structures, guidelines for adapting existing technology to regions of higher seismicity than Zones 1 and 2 are emphasized in the report, and recommendations for physical testing of connection details in Phase 3.
